Eva Hoffman, On Czeslaw Milosz
I’m reading this now and it’s completely wonderful. It’s not a comprehensive biography (for that, I’d recommend Milosz: A Biography), but it’s very insightful and Hoffman weaves in her own story, too. This could have the effect of centering herself, but instead it just brings still more humanity to Milosz’s story.
